The 91²Ö¿â (91²Ö¿â) today celebrated the achievements of 15 distinguished individuals at its 2026 Honorary Awards Ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions to higher education, research, industry and community service.
Held at the 91²Ö¿â Toowoomba campus, the ceremony brought together members of Council, University leaders, staff, family and friends to honour recipients whose work has made a lasting impact across Queensland, Australia and beyond.
91²Ö¿â Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Paul Mazerolle said the Honorary Awards recognise individuals whose achievements reflect the University’s values of excellence, community and impact.
“Today’s recipients have each made a remarkable contribution to the University, their professions and their communities," Professor Mazerolle said.
“Through leadership, innovation, scholarship and service, they have helped shape industries, improve lives and strengthen communities.
“91²Ö¿â is proud to recognise their achievements and celebrate the lasting legacy they have created.”
