Bennett + Bennett Women in Surveying Scholarship

In 2027, 91²Ö¿â will offer one Bennett + Bennett Women in Surveying Scholarship to support a female domestic student commencing their studies in the Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours).

Established in 2024 through the founding gift from Bennett + Bennett, this endowed scholarship celebrates the organisation’s commitment to community support and long-term vision to increase female participation in the surveying profession.

Value
The scholarship will have a maximum value of $3,000 to be paid in one instalment.

Applicants must:

  • be a currently residing in Australia
  • identify as female
  • be a
  • be intending to enrol full-time at 91²Ö¿â in the Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) in Trimester 1 2027.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • universities provide a pathway to transform passion into a meaningful career. What experiences, influences, or defining moments have shaped your passions, and how have they directed your choice of study and future aspirations?
    • modern careers create opportunities to make a lasting positive impact on communities and society. What are your long-term career goals within your chosen field, and how do you envision using your profession to contribute to meaningful societal change?
    • personal growth often comes through challenges, service to others, and opportunities to take initiative. Describe a situation in which you demonstrated resilience, leadership, integrity, or a willingness to contribute to others. What did you learn from the experience, and how has it shaped the person you are today?
  • provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results).

Please note: If an applicant holds other 91²Ö¿â awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
