91²Ö¿â Community Award

In 2026, 91²Ö¿â will offer four 91²Ö¿â Community Awards to support students continuing their studies in an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or postgraduate coursework program in recognition of their involvement in the 91²Ö¿â community.

This award recognises the recipients' involvement in the 91²Ö¿â community in activities such as student representation, mentoring programs, support groups for academic performance, social and sporting activities.

Each award will have a maximum value of $2000 to be paid in one instalment. 

Applicants must:

  • be a  currently residing in Australia, or an international on-campus student
  • be their studies at 91²Ö¿â in an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or postgraduate coursework program in Trimester 2 2026
  • have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0 as at the release of results for Trimester 3 2025
  • be involved in 91²Ö¿â community activities
  • not be a previous recipient of this award.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):         
    • how do you enrich the 91²Ö¿â community through your participation in 91²Ö¿â community activities
    • what have you personally gained or grown in through your participation                                    
  • upload a document listing the 91²Ö¿â community activities you have been/are involved in, your position/level of involvement, and dates of this involvement. These activities could include, but not limited to, the following:
    • Student Representative on a 91²Ö¿â Academic or Governance Committee
    • Project Partner (Students as Partners)
    • Member of the Student Senate

    • Student Representative on the 91²Ö¿â Student Guild Board

    • Residential College representative (e.g., Student Club Officer, ResPALS leaders)

    • 91²Ö¿â Student Club or Society member

    • 91²Ö¿â Unisport Nationals and Residential Shield

    • Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) or Peer Learning Mentor (Previously PASS)

    • Student Ambassador 

  • provide evidence to confirm your listed 91²Ö¿â community activity involvement.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other 91²Ö¿â awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
