91²Ö¿â Residential College Scholarship

In 2026, 91²Ö¿â will offer a number of Residential College Scholarships to support students residing at 91²Ö¿â Residential Colleges in Toowoomba, either commencing or continuing their studies in an undergraduate program.

The scholarship does not cover the study breaks or short-term accommodation.

Applications for the scholarship will be open in Trimesters 1, 2 and 3 2026 as below:

Trimester 1 2026

  • Open: Tuesday 14 October 2025
  • Close: Tuesday 27 January 2026

Trimester 2 2026

  • Open: Monday 13 April 2026
  • Close: Monday 18 May 2026

Trimester 3 2026

  • Open: Monday 27 July 2026
  • Close: Monday 31 August 2026

Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $2300 per trimester, to be applied as a reduction in Residential College fees across the 2026 academic year. 

The total value will vary depending on the trimester in which the scholarship is awarded (e.g., Trimester 1, 2 or 3 2026). 

Applicants must:
  • be a  currently residing in Australia
  • be their studies at 91²Ö¿â in an undergraduate program in the study period of application (e.g., Trimester 1, 2 or 3 2026)
    • continuing students must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0
  • be enrolled or intending to enrol in a minimum of two study units per trimester (extenuating circumstances may be considered for students only studying one study unit)
  • be residing or intending to reside at one of the 91²Ö¿â Residential Colleges, Toowoomba campus
  • not be a resident of Steele Rudd College, Block A or B 
  • have their principal place of residence at least 50 kilometres from the 91²Ö¿â Toowoomba campus
  • have a low-to-middle annual household income.

Please Note: There are some Centrelink payments (e.g., ABSTUDY Relocation Scholarship or ABSTUDY Residential Cost Option Scholarship) that cannot be held in the same period as the 91²Ö¿â Residential College Scholarship. We recommend you seek clarification from Centrelink before accepting a 91²Ö¿â Residential College Scholarship.

Applicants must:

  • provide evidence of having to relocate from a permanent residential address located at least 50 kilometres from the 91²Ö¿â Toowoomba campus
  • provide evidence of your current financial circumstances.

*If your permanent residential address is less than 50 km from the 91²Ö¿â Toowoomba campus, you may still apply under exceptional circumstances. A detailed explanation and supporting documentation will be required.

**Extra consideration will be given to those students who need to relocate from more remote areas within Australia, according to the Modified Monash Model 2023 Classification – refer .

Please Note: If an applicant holds other 91²Ö¿â awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
